Trademark Sales Consultant/Account Manager

About the role:
The successful candidate will be a member of our business development team, with responsibility for their own clients.
Whilst this is a sales role, there is no cold calling involved and all leads are from genuine enquiries and existing clients with the opportunity to account manage and upsell. We operate a live chat facility on our website, and this enables direct engagement with new customers.
There will be a lot to learn at the start, but training is given.
The working hours are 9:00-17:30 with a one-hour lunch break. We have found that our team operates best when working together in the office to bounce ideas off each other and create a positive working environment. The candidate will work onsite although a hybrid working structure could be discussed depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
● Taking sales enquiries from clients, these can be by telephone, email or live chat.
● Providing preliminary advice to clients regarding their requirements.
● Conducting trademark searches, after being taught how to undertake these.
● Following up with clients regarding their applications.
● Operating live chat.
● Upselling and account management.
● Maintaining a record of ongoing enquiries and following up with these.
● Working with the admin team to prepare quotations for extending the protection of the trademark in the UK, EU and
Internationally using the various systems as appropriate.
● Using social media as a tool to increase sales.
The successful applicant will have:
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Previous experience in customer service sales (office based).
● A good track record in closing sales over the phone.
● Experience in sales management.
● A self-motivated work ethic and methodical work process.
● Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
● A good level of both spoken and written English.
● Excellent attention to detail.
● A great teamworking attitude.
● Good at managing your CRM system.
You will need to be a driver to work here due to the location South of Cambridge and North of Royston.
